UPDATE: Nothing has changed since the last time we were called by the collection agency. We haven't heard anything at all. I half-expected to hear from lawyers by now, or maybe a hit on our credit history and rating, but nothing so far.

VG still has $5000 of our downpayment, which was on a credit card. I tried once to dispute it and lost. But I may try again. What are they going to do, say 'no'?
