Some donation sites have a list of timeshares they will not take. I believe www.donateforacause.com has such a list on their website.

========== MD, I don't know if a national charity would take a week now and then. You should be able to donate you week to a local church or organization if they are looking for donations for a raffle or auction. I know my local church will take a timeshare week for their silent auction.
