Re: how to set up a RCI week (by Kenneth K.):

If you recieved this week from an exchange, or rented it from RCI like extra vacations, you can't rent it out according to the contract you have with RCI.

Since RCI owns no T/S resorts, but is simply an exchange ( and rental at times) company....I assume your week is from a resort that trades with RCI?

If you have not given your resort T/S week to RCI for exchange ( barring no HOA rules against renting)....you can simply take this week you own and put it up for rent via this website. (Or seberal others).

If you have a week you obtained from an exchange from RCI, you can buy a guest cerificate from RCI, and let a guest family stay there. But RCI will allow them to pay for the guest certificate....and something else, I forgot....but you can't rent the week to them. ( ie....no money for a rental charge is allowed)
