You should collect the rent before putting the week into someone else's name or at the very least have it put in escrow to be released to you. Since you control the week you own, you could probably stop them from using the week if they have not paid. If you mean "By what means should I collect the rent?" there are a variety of answers. Some take payment through PayPal. Others accept a check or postal money order. As long as you get it far enough ahead to know that it will clear, you should be OK.
