Donate to whom? I don't know of any charities that are accepting timeshares as "donations" right now. If there are, they're likely going to charge you thousands of dollars to do so.

If you want to just give it away, try listing it and saying that it's free. Also, try asking the resort's Homeowners' Association if it will take your unit back.
