The more people like you contact the Florida Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office, the greater the chance that those scammers will be shut down (as they should be). I finally sold my timeshare and I provided them with evidence that another company sold it for me and they refused to refund my money despite promises to the contrary. They are so unethical.

1. The Better Business Bureau (not just in Florida, but anywhere and everywhere else as well) is useless, powerless and has no legal authority whatsoever. In my opinion, don't waste time or effort with an outfit that does nothing more than collect complaint statistics. Collecting statistics doesn't help or solve anything.

2. Many of the assorted upfront resale parasites claim they that will refund money in the event that the timeshare is sold elsewhere. Unfortunately, there is NO confirmed instance of ANY such parasite EVER having actually done so. They don't take money from people with any intention of returning any part of it --- that's not their business model.

3. In an ideal world, all of these these parasites would be required by law to provide a detailed contract document in advance, one clearly stating in plain English that they are nothing more than an obscure advertising agency, with little or no chance of actually selling a timeshare. To be honest, I'm not clear on how people come to believe otherwise, but it's truly a shame to see people voluntarily throw away hard earned money on absolutely ineffecitve advertising agencies, falsely masquerading as entities which have ANY chance on earth of actually selling a timeshare.
