Some are point-based systems and some are fixed weeks. If you're making a comparison (or contrasts) between Central Florida and Hawaii, keep in mind that, with point-based systems, you would probably have to use more points to book a week in Hawaii than you would in Central FL. So IOW, if you own in Central FL, the points you have probably won't be enough to book the same thing in HI.
