I have heard from two Diamond Centum members and one Platinum member who were told if they didn't buy a Hilton deed they would have very few locations to stay at or they could "release equity" of $441,000 if they purchased a Hilton deed. Two were on our Pod TV show Timeshare Solution or Surrender this past Monday, Episode 62. It's very buyer beware. The best advice is to buy a Hilton deed on resale. US Collection points have no resale value. RedWeek described Diamond policy some years back, describing their secondary market restrictions as "draconian"
