It would cost you (or anyone else) ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to get foreclosed upon. Ceasing further payments to Westgate would have generated the exact same result (foreclosure) without spending another penny.

Frankly, I don't find your vague and unconvincing post endorsing a "hacker" to be at all credible in the first place. That aside, the $2,500 figure you cite (if even true) is actually more costly than the cleaner (and completely lawful) “exit” avenue of simply paying Westgate the cost to use their Legacy “deedback” program.

I have absolutely no use for Westgate — but I dislike scammers even more…
