Those weeks are more than likely floating weeks. This means the owner can request a week from the resort for a renter if it's available. That's the reason you see many 1-52 weeks for rent. Check-ins are normally week to week (ie: Fri to Fri, Sat to Sat or Sun to Sun unless you rent from a points owner, however that's a whole different ballgame and Redweek doesn't deal in the different point systems unless an owner confirms a week with his resort with points and then rents that week out).
A floating week owner could get a Fri-Fri check-in for a renter if it's available. That would give you a full weekend, and if you wanted to check-out any day the following week that would be acceptable .... in other words you don't have to stay the entire week, however I don't know if an owner would discount for those days not used. That would have to be something negotiable, that is IF the owner would negotiate a partial week rental at all.
