Are you charged $40/day valet parking fee and $45/day resort fee even if you rent from an owner? My understanding is Hyatt now charges these fees to renters of owner weeks.

I guess I'll answer my own question as I have learned that in fact, Hyatt Kaanapali is indeed now charging renters of owner weeks a $40/day valet fee + a $45/day resort fee. There is a detailed thread in Tugbbs forums about it. $85/day extra definitely adds up and should be factored into the total cost. (by Randy H.):
