You might also add that pre-booked shuttles are common in Cancun and usually have fixed prices, which keeps things simple. If grabbing a taxi, the official desks inside the airport can give a set rate.
Most all-inclusives take major credit cards at check-in, but it’s still worth confirming with the resort. US dollars are widely accepted, though having a bit of pesos helps for small purchases or tips.
