Yes David. I have done so twice and quite successfully I may add. It will cost you a few dollars to do this through Paypal. Go to Paypal and open a premium account. Your renter can use a credit card or his or her Paypal account. I can only tell you how I did it. The renter sends a DEPOSIT to Paypal using only your Paypal account name; not in any way your password. You make the reservation in the person's name and when that person receives the reservation # in their own name they send Paypal the rest of the money. The reservation is usually in advance so if you don't receive the rest of the money you can cancel the reservation. (1) Person responds to my ad. (2) I respond to renter but first call to make sure their dates are available and reserve those dates in your own name. (3) Renter sends a deposit to your Paypal account. (4) You send renter a reservation # in THEIR name. (5) They send the rest of the deposit to your account. Paypal notified you each time any money is received and of course, gives you the receipt. Their may be an easier way such as having Paypal notice at the bottom of your ad but my Paypal account name and Redweek account name are totally different. Hope this helps.
