Re: Has anyone used Redweek's Full Service Timeshare Resale to sell their timeshare????? (by Rpm):
Might check ROFR.net for your resort and view. If it shows Failed, it means MVCI took the contract. With enough data points it tends to show the minimum value a buyer needs to pay to keep MVCI from taking it, e.g, Marriott Ocean Club 2BR, OF, Napili or Lahaina tower floating use to pass at around $32K, within the last year it's been $36-38K. ROFR is fluid and stuff squeaks by, but it's really the only public viewing source of data.
Brokers and title closing companies likely have a better view, so for a high value week, particularly on Maui, talking with someone like Syed at Advantage Vacations or Tom at Maui Resort Rentals is worth your time.
When all is said and done floating weeks are commodities, lowest price goes first. Fixed weeks are another animal.
