Re: Purchasing thru Redweek or other resale companies (by Steven B.):

bud I have it listed at $12,995. I don't owe anything to the Resort. I took a loan thru my credit union to pay it off at a much better interest rate and shorter terms.

I'm just really all about cutting monthly costs. Yeah little Marisol will enjoy the place but I'm sure she would trade that for a $600,000 beautiful home that we plan to purchase a little more.

Nobody would be taking on my debt. Its simple. If someone wants to buy it they pay me and thats that.

I'm in a win/win my friend. If somebody buys it great. If not I am "stuck" with my Timeshare at a great resort or anywhere else I choose to exchange it for.

Basically there are people buying these things every day AT the resort. If one of them comes on here and sees mine and decides to pay 13k rather than the 30k the resort wants then great.

So I paid $50 to run an ad. I make that in an hour. If nobody buys it then no harm, no foul.

The one thing that bummed me out was this. Before it was Mystic Dunes we were able to swap for El Conquistador in Fajardo, P.R. but that is no longer an option. Wifey grew up down there and that resort is great. Oh well...

thanks for the input tho bud...
