Resale pricing... (by KC):

I don't know your resort and I don't know (or claim for one moment to know) whether your identified price is realistic or not in terms of current resale market value.
That being very clearly stated right up front, I would still recommend that (if you have not already done so) you look at comparable advertised resale weeks on various timeshare sites for weeks like yours, at your resort, in order to see what amount they are being advertised for. In order to sell, your price likely needs to be the same as (or better still, less than) any other directly comparable week being advertised. Some sellers, particularly those who originally purchased "developer-direct", somehow don't seem to want to acknowledge that a buyer simply DOES NOT CARE what the seller originally paid for his / her timeshare. An intelligent and informed buyer simply wants to buy at the lowest available price they can find, without any concern for (or any interest at all in) what the seller might have "invested" in the original purchase. The resale market value quite simply "is what it is --- TODAY", regardless of all previous purchase history.
Anyway, good luck. I wish for you and your new family health and happiness, with or without timeshare.....
