Hello,

I am new here and my wife and I are nearly ready to buy a timeshare. The big question I am dealing with is WHERE to buy. We are interested in being able to travel to different locations all over North America with the idea that one day we will travel to other parts of the world as well. My problem is that most of the things I have read show that it is very difficult to trade for desirable places to go so the recommendation seems to be to buy something that you can use every year. Well that puts me at something close to home which is in Wisconsin and from everything I can tell, it is VERY hard to trade a Wisconsin time share. So, is there a slam dunk place to buy even if you can't get there every year? Or is a point system the best bet? Or should I just go with something that is cheap and close to home? Thanks.
