I've found a resale in Florida that seems too good to be true. Is there a way to check to be sure it's not a scam? I've called the resort and they have the owner of the week listed as a person and not the company I'm purchasing it from. The company says sometimes they sell the property for the owner and sometimes they get power of attorney for a timeshare week. The company has been around since 1992 according to the purchase agreement and they have a website. I'm nervous because they're taking payment with a credit card. Is that sometimes done?
