That could be said about almost every timeshare company or travel club, especially when you go into one of those sales presentations.

That being said, now that you have what you have, be careful about the many scams out there aimed at timeshare owners. You'll probably start getting a bunch of phone calls from scam companies saying that they can:

1) Sell or rent out your timeshare for tons and tons of money, you just have to pay them a "one-time" fee to get things started. 2) "Cancel" or exit your timeshare. 3) Sue the salespeople or timeshare company that sold you this useless product. 4) End your mortgage and maintenance fees. 5) Join so-and-so travel club to maximize your travel options.
