I am the person that rented this timeshare. This owner has NEVER paid her maintenance fee to the resort as her acct goes to collection each and every year, forcing the Assn. to pay 1/3 of the fee to the attorney. On checking with the atty. on Friday afternoon prior to Saturday check in, I was told the fee was not paid. I then put the unit up for rent with the proceeds earmarked to go first to delinquent fees and any balance to go to Owner. she went to the atty about 4 pm and paid the fee Friday afternoon - again the resort only rec'd 2/3's of this fee. In addition, the names and numbers of our BOD are in our newsletters twice a year. They are also available thru the State Corp. Commission free of charge to anyone who cares to look - this owner is obviously not unfamiliar with the Interent as she has broadcatsed her allegedly mistreatment in every forum she can find. Owner was furnished with the name of the management company and would have been given the names of the board members had she asked for them. I do not give out their personal emails, home numbers or addresses per BOD request. A complaint letter this Owener wrote was forwarded to me and it was given to the President of the management company, the manager of the resort and the BOD. I don't know about the rest of you who pay your fees on time, but I am tired of delaing with deadbeat owners who don't pay until the last minute so they can use their timeshares. They take away valauble resources from the Assn in terms of staff time to collect and deal with attys, as well as necessary funds that must be paid to force these deadbeats to pay. If you think these losers deserve the rights and treatment as those who fulfill their obligations, please don't buy at our resort.
