First off, please be aware that you will have to pay about $450 "out of pocket" toward the closing costs in order to "donate" a timeshare week to this particular organization.

Secondly, be also advised that they will NOT take just any timeshare. You should first inquire as to whether what you own is anything they would even accept in the first place. Like any charitable organization, they only want timeshares which they believe they can promptly sell and turn into cash for their cause. The timeshare itself is of absolutely no value or interest to them, beyond merely being an avenue through which to generate cash. They are not interested in just moving "albatrosses" from around someone else's neck, only to place it around their own neck instead.

The contact person for this organization is named Kim McBride. Contact her directly for a more clear picture as to whether or not your prospective "donation" is even a possibility in the first place.
