Jill, I contacted 7 On Your Side also, just go to their website and put in your complaint. I also contacted BBB, Consumer Protectiion, and my bank also has a fraud case against them. Something must have worked because after a week of not being able to contact him, Chris Brooks contacted me and said that they are desparately trying to sell my timeshare and that he was on vacation when I was trying to contact him. I didn't believe him of course. He asked me to stop slandering the company's name and they are a legitimate business in good standing. He also asked me to call everyone that I had contacted and tell them that he contacted me. I didn't of course. I told him that he scammed me and alot of other people, but I know better now. I told him to prove me wrong, sell my timeshare and give me my check! He hung up on me. I haven't heard from him since. Don't stop trying to get them. The darkness must be exposed to the light and they have to pay for what they are doing to people. Ever since they took that extra money out of my account I have not been able to get back on my feet with my bills. He tried to say that I agreed on the Option to Buy, which cost an extra $999 and that's why they took the money. I was furious because I never agreed to that, but he tried to twist my words to make me unsure of our conversation. He must think I'm a bigger idiot than I was for falling for his scam. I want all of the companies that prey on people's misfortune and desperation to pay. They are stealing and making you look like the bad guy. So do what ever you have to to make your point and get their name out there so that this can be stopped. This should not be tolerated or swept under the rug. I also talked to my aunt who works for a law firm. I will not be scammed like this again. This company and others like them make it hard for upstanding timeshares realtors to get people to trust them. I don't know why they won't put these predators out of business to protect theirs. I pray that we prosper from this ordeal, because evil does not go unpunished!
