How difficult was it to get the refund? I've been contacted by dozens of companies and am really not sure what to do. DK
I signed a contract with this company in August 2008 and in February 2009 requested and received a refund. I don't know if this company can actually sell timeshares because every time I called I was told they had an interested buyer but were having trouble with financing. Given the fact that there was a credit freeze when they had my property, there was a grain of truth to this statement but it did bug me that every single time I called, I got the same response. I got my money refunded without any delays or drama. I did, however, make the request in writing via certified mail within 30 days of the contract expiration date as stated in the contract. I think perhaps the person who did not get a refund may not have followed those procedures. That certainly would not surprise me because most companies do not want to refund money regardless of their own guarantees. MLP
