Two different subjects... (by KC):

No disrespect intended, but you seem to be addressing an entirely different topic (i.e., sale and / or rental listings advertised on the RedWeek site by individual owners).
The topic of THIS particular thread, however, is not sale or rental listings, but is instead the subject of EXCHANGES, in which depositing owners relinquish their week(s) directly to RedWeek and, once having done so, are basically thereafter completely removed from the process, which is then conducted soley between RedWeek and the prospective exchanger.
So, moving back to the actual topic of this particular thread, i.e. RedWeek exchanges, I like the RedWeek / DAE exchange model in concept, but I personally believe that there are still some significant "growing pains" exhibited in the questionable accuracy of the RedWeek "valuations" of submitted deposits. Some are too high, others way too low (in my opinion, anyhow). Once these "valuations" become more accurate (and more consistent) and the confidence level and available inventory both grow a bit more, I think the RedWeek model can become a very good exchange system indeed.
