Okay, my husband and I have been having a timeshare for well over 10 years. We got a "great deal" and only used it once....but it was paid for years ago. We just never really took the time out to figure out how the whole thing worked and were just confused (my husband bought it before we got married so when I came into the picture to try to figure things out....just confusing).

At any rate, we can't use it during the month of October, we also haven't been able to sell it or rent it (EVER!). SOOOO, my question is....what in the world can we do with it!??? We don't want to use RCI for anything, so does anyone know if it's possible to trade within the resort? For instance, can we trade our week? If so, what's the first steps to go about doing this. I'm about ready to give up.

I know this probably sounds silly since we've had this for years, but just trying to weed through all the details has been exhausting. Thanks for any assistance.
