Rental of The Phillips Club Units (by Alan W.):
The policies and procedures of The Phillips Club prohobits the rental of the units. The rules and regulations state as follows: "Use and Occupancy Restrictions. Use of the club Units is limited solely to the personal, and recreational use of Members, their Guests and Invitees. Except as otherwise may be expressely permitted by this Article, the rental of Memberships and/or confirmed reservations for the use and occupancy of the Club Units by Owners is expressly phothibited, and no Membership or confirmed reservation thereof may be sublet, nor may any right to use be transferred to any non-Member, Guest, or Invitee, for any compensation, whether in the form of payment, barter or exchange, or any other means of compensation. The Club Board's piror written consent shall be required prior to any Member offering their Membership in the Club through a sale or exchange program whereby Members can exchange their right to use Club Units with owners of other timeshares, lodging facilities, clubs, condominiums and/or interval ownerships at other properties, which consent may be withheld in te Club Board's sole discretion."
Anyone renting without the Club Board's written permission which has not been granted will encounter problems when arriving at the resort.
