The answer is ALREADY known... (by Christine K.):
I actually got my money back because I went through my credit card company. My Havasu property actually is great and we use our points to go places we would have never visited.
My credit card companies were great. There were actually 3 involved. The first 2 were to a scam called Premiere Timeshare Solutions. They went under before the 1st of the year. Then icare calls right before Christmas with the bad news and willing to use their lawyers to get my funds back and they actually found 2 additional weeks on the title search (that's a total of 5 weeks). Last week I got a call from ecare asking me why I disputed the charges and they had to tear up 3 checks that were made out to me. WoW. Then she came back with now they could get this all recaptured if I wanted to. All I would have to do is do a check by phone. I said if you make your money through the financing process, (which I was told by Craig the supposed owner of icare) then why do you need my money if you already have the title info, people to buy. She hung up. My cost would have been over 5,000. I was the clock and made sure my credit cards would cover if the thing went belly up.
