Also, this newly interjected entity is an entirely different TYPE of company. Accordingly, the above quoted inquiry would more appropriately posted as a new and entirely separate thread of its own, but....How about "Transfer America"? ANy information on this company. Supposedly they will meet with you and buy your timeshare on the spot
The "Transfer America" name is unknown, but the game will undoubtedly be familiar --- just another "PostCard Company". More likely, it's an old PCC "reinvented" with a new name.
At the "meeting", they may take (...not buy) your timeshare on the spot --- after YOU pay THEM somewhere between $2,500 and $3,500. They might not even take actual ownership by recording a new deed in their own name, but may instead just get a signed Power of Attorney from you to sell (or give away) the week IF THEY CAN. If they can't, you will STILL own the timeshare and you will STILL be "out" that $2,500 -$3,500 you parted with. Sound like a good deal?
If you have the free time to attend the "meeting", there is no harm in doing so just for for the experience and entertainment value, but the bottom line will certainly be just as described above.
