Just finished researching Vacation Property Resales (by Summer P.):
I have been looking into selling my worldmark timeshare for a couple of weeks now. I was contacted by a couple different people but buyatimeshare.com really caught my attention. After hearing their spill I was intrigued but wanted to make sure. I looked them up on the Better Business Buearu (sp?) and they are not members. When I asked about this they told me that they are not members because they are an online company and the online better business buearu is who they are listed with (never heard of em). So I looked that up and you can PURCHASE a good standing with them. Also I asked about their Licensing (because you need a real estate license to sell timeshares) He said he DIDNT NEED ONE. At that point he told me that they usually list timeshares for $799 and they were having a deal right now for $599, BUT because he had a broker that dealed specifically with worldmark all I would have to pay is $145 (not bad right? haha). Also during his spill he told me that their title company was called transferatimesharetitle.com (coincidence in the name? I think NOT).
The guy I spoke to was a smooth talkin guy who had his answers rehearsed and he would continually interupt me when I had questions, and he didn't even try to answer all of my questions he was more concerned with a document that he wanted signed RIGHT AWAY.....
Needless to say I wont be calling them back. STAY AWAY FROM sellatimeshare.com aka Vacation Property Resale.
(sorry for the spelling errors)
