We're using Marriott points from regular Marriott travel to stay at the Maui Ocean Club in December so we're not owners. In surfing around to find out the scoop on which towers are the best, I came across all this talk about mugs, so now I'm intrigued.

If we don't have a mug, do we not get coffee or soda or will it cost an arm and a leg? We go in December so I'm thinking if we do purchase mugs, we'll get the best deal since it's so close to the end of the year. Would all of you experts agree?

Also, I may post a new thread since it's off the mug topic, but while I'm here can anyone comment on another topic? We're staying in one of these three towers: Molokai, Maui, Lanai. Should one be avoided over the others? I read some old reviews on other sites about water damage and musty smell so I'm a little concerned.

I'm so excited about the trip I can hardly wait!!!
