I too received the postcard for a "Complimentary Cruise". I went to the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana, California. They did the whole presentation. There were two parts that bothered me. First, the salesman that I had tried to tell me about Marriott's program and he did not realize they had changed to points. So when I tried to explain to him that the services he was offering I already had he did not believe me. It took him a while to realize that he was not up to date. Secondly, he offered to take my Diamond Resorts Points off my hands if I bought their product. That's when I knew it was a scam for sure, because there was no way they were going to take my maintenance fees of my hands forever to sell me what they offered.

The cruises... I would say don't bother. With all the fees attached to go on them it's no longer a bargain.
