Wyndham/Fairfield will be more than happy to talk to you about converting weeks into points. Be careful of two important issues:

1) In most cases, they will NOT simply convert what you own (even for a fee) into points without trying to get you to upgrade, i.e. buy more and then make the whole batch into points. 2) Have you done enough research into points and your vacation habits to determine if points are your best option?

I'd also take a look at RCI's option called "Points For Deposit", whereby if you own weeks and then purchase ANY amount of points you have the option of converting your week into points on a year by year basis...provided your home resort has not already converted to points...for a small fee.
