=========== It's been years since we've stayed there, so I can't tell you of the current conditions. But here's what I can remember. If I had to give it a rating, it would be a 5 out of 10. Nothing fabulous, nothing terrible. We stayed in a studio unit that was perfect for two people. The furnishings were nice and the staff was courteous. I remember the pool area being small. The beach was just that...a beach. There were no restaurants on the premises and there were very few activities. We used to walk across the causeway for some "local" flavor. Well, I can't say there has been 'major' changes. Just that the construction of the new bridge is completed. Did you know for $15.00/week (last yr prices) there is a trolley that runs 6 AM to 12 midnight, 7 daya a week that covers all the way from Sand Key to St Pete Beach. There is enough of them running that the wait is not very long and therefore, you could extend your area of entertainment and shopping.
