jayjay wrote:tedk74 wrote:jayjay How can you instruct someone on how to build a house when you have not built one yourself? What qualifies you to classify TS Concepts as a scam? The short answer is your not qualified. Wouldn't a scam be less than willing to fully refund a client that doesn't wish to continue services? Have you worked directly with TS Concepts? I'm sure that answer would be no to that question as well. It's my understanding that the purpose of a message board is to learn and share ideas vs. sharing a poorly formed "opinion" on a business that you know nothing about.
Help Redweek.com educate Timeshare Owners based on facts vs. your ill formed opinions on something you are less than an expert in.
As a previous poster stated you evidently charge a large upfront fee to list a timeshare for sell or rent on your site that no one will ever see because no one is looking to buy timeshares in this economy .... in fact many people are giving their timeshares away. Take a look at Redweek's and at TUG's (www.tugbbs.com) Bargain Basement Timeshares and Ebay's (under real eatate).
stevep376: You should educate yourself on things before you speak. Although every message board needs a person like you posting for entertainment purposes.
For a person to sign up for the types of accounts (plural) we have with bidshares and the 9 other mediums we use it would cost 6 or 8 times what we charge as a one time fee to a consumer.
Ever gone fishing? The more lines in the water you have, the better chance you have of catching a fish. This goes the same for marketing and advertising. Would you be bashing our business if I told you that TS Concepts also advertised on Redweek.com as well? I highly doubt it.
Do the math....check your facts and assist the users of Redweek.com, educate yourself and then respond intelligently.
Now on to JayJay: The data you have is incorrect. As stated above we have at minimum 10 mediums we use to market properties. Our main site is just one of them.
To further your statements regarding TUG and Ebay, if you dig a little bit you'll find companies like The Relief companies and other similar in nature attempting to dump properties after a consumer has paid the company 2K plus to take the property off their hands. Dig into Tug and Redweek.com to get up to speed on this as the data was collected from these 2 sites.
Every consumer has different circumstances that make them interested in selling or renting their vacation property.
Timeshare sell today much the same way that they sold when the original owner purchased the unit. People go to the resorts and the resorts themselves sell the consumer on why buying a timeshare property makes sense.
I hope this clarifies things for both of you. Should further explanation be required please let me know.
