The Royal Sands is a Sat to Sat only resort. If they are full, they will not have a one night room.

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott near the airport for one night before our tour and it was very nice. Free bus right outside the door of the airport (do not let the timeshare sales people trick you into a discussion by pretending they are the transit company.
