Don't hold your breath waiting for the IRS since it's fair market value that counts when supposedly donating a timeshare .... if you donated it then it has zero market value no matter what CHT may have told you.
BTW, are you aware that CHT is not even listed as a charity at Charity Navigator yet they advertise themselves as a charity = fraud, plain and simple? The IRS will audit you and come after you many years later including penalties and interest.
