Thanks for sharing that experience. If you have the opportunity to rescind, that likely means that you had to pay money upfront. And one major no-no in dealing with companies like this is to not pay anyone a large, upfront fee to sell, rent our, market, or "cancel" your timeshare.

This operation sounds like you have to pay an upfront fee to rent out your timeshare, or, in this case, your points.
