I wanted to update on my experience with PRL et al. I had message from both my original salesperson and a person identifying himself as BJ Cooke this past Saturday stating that they had received my faxed letter of rescission and regretted we would not be doing business. Them I actually spoke to Mr. Cooke who called me on my mobile phone. He was very conciliatory and apologetic about how the unfortunate impression was created and invited us to consider experiencing a years free membership with no upfront purchase so we could discover for ourselves that this was a good program. I told him that we would consider that and asked him to call back Monday (as we were on the road) to discuss it fiurther. I still find the inclusion of VRBO a plus for us and, with no up-front payment, I would consider it. And I would report our experiences here as I think that only fair. I am still "waiting" for his "Monday call.". What puzzles me is why he would go to the trouble of making the call and attempt to "woo" us with a no risk offer and then ....fail to call.
