Beware of an exploding offer (i.e. "accept the terms as I've stated them now or lose the opportunity forever") It is a hostile tactic designed to panic you into complying without looking at the fine print or thinking through the consequences. Instead, it should serve as your cue to walk away, because it's a huge red flag that the person on the other end doesn't care about your ultimate satisfaction with the arrangement.
