Re: Attorneys General - they work for YOU (by Carmen C.):
I had been told to contact Fl. St. Attorneys office about several companies that scammed me. They told me that they had run out of funds and to contact Fl. Agricul. dept. I did and was was told that if I sent in all paper work they would help me. All I had for the one company was Co name, addresses, phone numbers, and 3 names. Got a reply that they weren't at that add. and all phones were disconnected. So they could not help . carmenc101

If you think you have been ripped off by a resort in FL then you need to file a complaint with the attorney general in that state ..... if your paperwork proves that you been scammed then they will definitely help you .... that's one of the jobs of the office of attorneys general .... to help consumers that may have been defrauded.
