I can't figure out what it is you can't figure out .... timeshares ARE real estate. When you buy a timeshare via signing a legally binding contract that contract is then listed in property records in the county where the resort is located, taxed by the county and the contract is in your name forever or until it is transferred out of your name.

It's quite evident that you don't know doodly squat about the subject of timeshares.
