Then it would seem you have a legal leg to stand on if you tried to rescind during that 5 business day timeframe, but you'll need proof that you tried to rescind during that timeframe ..... just saying you tried to rescind won't work unless you have written proof to back it up .... in other words, do you have a copy of the rescission letter that you sent stamped by USPS.
