Hi all, Our attorney reviewed the Purchase and Resale Agreement and strongly suggested we just say no to signing it. There are so many problems and potential legal entanglements that it doesn't appear to be legitimate. Late this afternoon I sent an email to the "broker" advising him that we will not sign the agreement. He called, and my husband told him that if they wanted the property that they would have to come up with the transfer fee. As you can imagine, the broker was unhappy. My guess is that we will not hear from him again.
