Dear trentp8,
It is imperative that you edit your posting right away. It would be best of you to contact your attorney and discuss the ramifications of internet liable against companies or individuals.
Our renters agreed to the very terms and conditions; some do not remember or are having concerns about. Our terms and conditions are explained before renters booked the units; we "beg you, beg you, beg you" not to put down the deposit unless you agree with our terms, conditions, and booking process.
The bottom of page one of the signed rental agreements, it states clearly, "Upon deposit and payment, Owner agrees to ensure that the vacation time is in the name of the Renter AT THE TIME OF CHECK IN." Renters' agree to those terms, initial right by the statement, and sign.
Our business model is designed to allow owners the very comfortable liberty to set up guest passes only after they have been paid in full, which allows us a great relationship with owners, giving the best deals to the traveling public.
That is our model, and it works. Some companies and individual owners may do things differently and that is ok. People and businesses have the right to design their own terms and conditions. And you, the consumer, have the right to agree with the terms of rental party or not.
This is America and a free country. We do understand some time can pass between the time they booked and went over the booking process.
We are a professional vacation home rental company that protects renters with iron clad, signed, non-cancelable rental agreements from owners, and the full backing and credit or our company. All of our rentals are backed and Guaranteed by our company.
FYI: Item #5 on page two of our agreements clearly states: "Owner is not able to cancel this agreement without reimbursing Renter all out of pocket expenses for arranging this vacation. "
We rent more of these properties than anyone and have been around many years successfully sending thousands of families around the world and have NEVER had a family not have a place to stay when they arrived.
You are indicating in this internet posting, libelously, that you arrived at your unit and your unit was not available. You are saying that in the context of our company, Vacation Homes Only and it can be miss interpreted and wrongly attributed to us.
You can call us any time if you have questions and concerns.
We realize they you may not have meant to imply that you had no unit when you arrived at your rental, and that Vacation Homes Only was responsible. However, you can likely see that some may wrongly interpret your post as being related to Vacation Homes Only.
We give you the benefit of the doubt, however, please remove or clarify the posting to reflect what organization or individual was really responsible for you not having a unit.
We trust that you will do the right thing.
Thank you.
Vacation Homes Only
