Re: anyone been to this resort? (by Patrick T.):
You'd think those "posters" would be embarrassed to post such similar BS. Do they really think a few obvious fake comments planted by the resort can overcome 16 pages of negatives, stretching over five years? Let's just try to contact the couple in London, or the single in LA. Hah! In the past I've called people who post these "positive" comments trolls. Look it up. I think, though, that these posts are clearly beyond that -- they're fakes, or "plants." Probably, as noted above, from the crooks themselves, or their relatives. Actually, I've been surprised there haven't been more of these. Why do I think they're fakes? First. several posts use poor English, so the writers either are ignorant native speakers or, more likely, foreign. The crooks are evenly divided between American and Mexican (with, of course, a few high-level Italians thrown in). Second, they refer to Coco, whereas for the last year-plus the "real" tourists have been visiting Bahia (which, yes, is just another section of the overall complex, but, again, "Coco" is a tip-off that these folks aren't really tourists. There are two other "tells" in their posts, but I'm not going to reveal them -- can't let the bad guys into all our secrets!. It is a shame that the crooked sales team at Coco/Bahia with their fraudulent practices spoils the many attractions of Costa Rica...
