GARY, you are my new BFF! Marriott Resale Dept is not interested. I asked what if I just stopped paying ( I owe no $ except for maintenance fees due next Jan'15) and was told my Rewards Points ( from credit card, etc) would be frozen for about to 1-2 years until foreclosure (?) process was resolved. So, that is NOT an option. I'm searching other options. How do I find a reputable broker? I love/loved my Legacy Week. It's the DC points system that is very unpleasant. The "holding account" for DC points (if you have to cancel a trip, you have to wait to use those points to reserve within 60 days of new date or lose them at the end of the year) is particularly offensive and NOT Owner friendly. Can you IMAGINE how many leftover points Marriott accumulates EVERY year from owners? Renting week/points isn't an option. For me, selling at a loss seems a reality and inevitable. All advice/websites/info is greatly appreciated!!! Thx!
