You mean, even if I assign the deposited week to say a March week in cancun I would be the only one who could use it? That week isn't then mine to do with what I want but rather "propoerty" of II who is allowing use of it by only me?
Will have to contact II to confirm what you have said (though there is some logic to it) and to see about the extension.
