Re: Dream Travel Condos anyone? (by Carole P.):

So sorry for your loss...you don't need their headache on top of everything else....No, there are a lot of us who haven't paid, and don't intend to. There is nothing they can do about it, because they didn't give us 30 days notice, as stated in our contracts. So essentially, asking for this money is "illegal" or null and void. So depending on when you got the email, as I did March 2, some on March 3rd, it is less then the required 30 days. So we do not have to pay. Have you got confirmation for your booked week? If so, just go and enjoy, they can't stop you. If you have paid for it, but still waiting for the confirmation, then you better ask for it and make sure they give it to you, or ask for your money back. They cannot stop you from going if you don't pay, because you already reserved, and again, their "request" for the money, is null and void.

In the beginning, I was told by Rosy, that it would be sent to a collections agency (probably Triad, if they are even "real") if we didn't pay. Well, too bad for them, because legally, they cannot do that, as it is "null and void" anyway

Have you paid the amount requested $399 USD to Suitelife? I have been with them since 2002...recently I lost my husband who is the one that wanted to buy into this against my better judgement. Is it definite that you have to pay the $1500 USD to get out of it? I have booked a week with my children in May because I wanted to use it at least once after 4 years of dormancy...since I had paid all that time and we didn't use it, the additional cost was cheap but now an additional $399 makes it as much as booking at a resort on my own. What are the repercussions of not paying the amount levied on us as clients? Does anyone know.
