Again, Context is everything.
"Scammed" seems to be an overly used and abused word now days.
While we all have to be aware of criminal activity, not every person or company that makes a mistake or provides a less than satisfactory product or service is a "scam".
Furthermore, there seem to be people who have an "anti business" mentality, in spite of the fact that 85% of Americans work for a small business that earn a "profit" (is that really a dirty word no days?) that pays them their salary, which buys them there houses, cars, and food for everyday life. Seems a bit hypocritical at worst, negative at best.
The statement "Beware that their bottom line is profit"...........I guess that means we are all victims and being taken advantage of when we by groceries, clothing, services, cars, when we go out to eat.......etc.
We are taking in a forum right now provided for by a company making a profit. People are able to express their views because of that "evil profit".
Are the individual owners offering fabulous vacations at half the resort retail price taking advantage of everyone when they rent their units above the cost of their maintenance fee, thus earning a "dirty profit".....are they "motivated by profit".....are they scamming people.....are they evil?
I think reasonable people will agree that the free enterprise system is one that has brought more people out of poverty around the world and that socialist anti business systems have failed their people miserably.
Context is everything.
