I follow this issue and once the estate attorney sends in proof of death to TMC with a request to give the unit back, they apparently always do so if they are asked.

I've been in contact with many owners via private email with questIons regarding this topic.

Also, on NYC ACRIS website (where all our documents are listed such as the Deeds and Powers of Attorney we unwittingly signed giving free reign to change our Deeds as our legal representatives- slick move), it often shows change of ownership from estates back to TMC.
